Compared to last year's models, the new iPhone all has a 12 megapixel camera that faces forward from a 7-megapixel lens last year. Each iPhone also has one additional rear camera compared to its counterpart on 2018. To see how they compare to the iPhone XR, XS and XS Max, peek at the chart below. One of the most significant camera features is called Deep Fusion which promises to increase detail and reduce the photo image noise taken in moderate to low light situations such as indoors. This feature is in beta, but it can change the look of your iPhone photos.
As one of the most popular mobile phones in the world, the new iPhone faces a challenging market. With iPhone sales falling 12% in fiscal third quarter, profits are expected to drop to $9.6 billion and more people are trading their Iphones for Android, Apple's new flagship phone needs to be attractive enough to attract new customers or make Current customers remain interested. Not to mention its major rival Samsung took its wraps off note 10, note 10 Plus and notes 10 5G on August 7, and phones that look pretty big so far. Pricing and Availability
A year ago, iPhone XR introduced a price gap between Apple's entry-level smartphone and a richer model of features, and the loophole was just widened in the iPhone 11 family. Thanks to the initial price of iPhone 11 for $699, there is now a $300 gap between that and the base model of the iPhone 11 Pro, which starts at $999. Even the most expensive iPhone 11 models – equipped with a 512GB storage – cost $150 cheaper than the cheapest iPhone Pro models. In a break with Apple practices the past two years, all the new Iphones have arrived at once, with the three models now in the store. Instead, the iPhone X shipped almost eight weeks after the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus in 2017, while iPhone XR buyers had to wait a month after iPhone XS and XS Max came out last year. Design and size
You definitely won't confuse the iPhone 11 with its Pro counterparts. The IPhone 11 has an aluminum and glass body and is present in a rainbow of colors-purple and green is a newcomer, joining the black, yellow, white and red variants held from the iPhone XR. IPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max Choose a more sophisticated look. The phone uses stainless steel for their frame, and the glass has a matte coating. Your color choices are quieter here, although Apple does include the Midnight Green version along with more traditional options such as Space Grey, Silver and Gold.
Apple emphasized the durability of iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max when introducing those phones, one of the things we still plan to test. These three new Iphones have the waterproof rating and the IP68 dust, although not all IP68 ratings seem the same. IPhone 11 can last 30 minutes of dunk in up to 2 meters of water, while Pro models can be a little deeper up to 4 meters. No matter which model you choose, you will get a real camera bump. It's grinding precision to fit the rest of the phone, whether you have an iPhone 11 or one Pro model in your hand.
The same dimensions that you see with iPhone XS, XS Max and XR are back with this year's model. IPhone 11 Pro Max is the highest and widest of Apple's new phones, and it's the hardest one. The next highest phone, iPhone 11 is also the most thick, although it is only a fraction of an inch. IPhone 11 Pro is the most compact model. Like the latest iPhone, no headphone jack can be found in any of the iPhone 11 family members.
Display
This is once again the tale of two screens for various Apple smartphones. Like the previous iPhone XR, iPhone 11 is satisfied with the LCD panel, while the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max display an OLED display. While a little seems to have changed on paper about the Liquid Retina 6.1 inch iPhone 11, it turned out brighter than the one on iPhone XR (652 nits vs 589 nits). IPhone 11 Registers 113% of the sRGB color gamut, which is not close to what you get with the OLED panels, although the iPhone 11 color is very accurate. (The Delta-E rating 0.22 is pretty close to the zero score perfectly on that test.)
When you see the Super Retina XDR screen that adorn Your iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max, you'll know why this model is more expensive. Both are super-bright phones – the iPhone 11 Pro reaches 752 nits on our light meter, while the 11 Pro Max exceeds 761. This is the phone you want to take out.
The color on the Super Retina XDR screen isn't as smooth as what you'll get from some OLED panels, though it's a deliberate choice of Apple to set the view to be less saturated. However the colors were accurate, with iPhone 11 Pro Max noted the Delta-E score of 0.28.
One thing we noticed from all three phones now is that we've tested it – the spatial audio feature really makes a difference when you're watching a video. The wider sound stage, along with Dolby Atmos support, puts the audio around you, creating a deeper experience.
Camera
This may stand out as a big differentiator between the new iPhone models. The IPhone 11 has two rear cameras-a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/1.8 and an ultra-wide 12 MP lens with an aperture of f/2.4. Dual Lenses carry 2x optical zoom for Apple's flagship entry-level iPhone, and the 120-degree field on an ultra-wide-angle lens means you can capture more of your environment in the image.
Both cameras were back on the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max, but they joined the third 12-MP lens. This telephoto lens has an F/2.0 aperture, allowing 40% more light than the telephoto lens Apple included on iPhone XS last year. Apart from the extra lenses on the PRO model, these three phones support many of the same camera features. Whether you have an iPhone 11 or one Pro model, a new night Mode should mean better images in low light. These three new phones offer QuickTake, a new camera function where you can record video while also shooting still images just by tapping the shutter long enough. Even the upcoming Deep Fusion feature, which combines nine different shots for more detailed images, will work on iPhone 11 as it does on iPhone 11 Pro.
These three phones also use the same 12 MP front camera and offer the ability to take slow-motion videos – a feature dubbed "Slofies " by Apple as another entertainment in the world. The front camera can also record 4K video at a speed of 60 fps.
The third new Iphones fared impressively in our tests, including comparing its output with images shot by leading camera phones from Google and Samsung. The Night Mode feature is very well welcomed, letting Apple's new phone produce a much better shot in low light.
On most shoots, you'll have a hard time knowing the difference in what the iPhone 11 is capturing versus one of the 11 Apple Pro models. A big exception is a portrait shot, as the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max have the benefit of a telephoto lens to focus on the subject.
Battery life
Last year's iPhone release introduced us to an upside down world where Apple's most inexpensive flagship, iPhone XR, also had a long-lasting battery. Apple says XR is the longest-lasting iPhone ever made, and the company was not kidding – it changed in 11 hours, 26 minutes on our battery test, which was almost an hour better than the iPhone XS Max results.
Orders have been restored to the highway with the lineup of iPhone 11. Now, iPhone 11 Pro Max takes the durable iPhone's crown with an average of 11 hours and 54 minutes while continuing to surf the web via LTE. The IPhone 11 Pro also produces a good result of 11:16, though that's a few minutes behind the XR results from last year. IPhone 11 Pro increased on the iPhone XS results below average, though at 10:24, the results were still about an hour behind the usual iPhone 11.
IPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max charge faster out of the box. These models are shipped with an 18-watt charger. On the iPhone 11 Max, we got a battery of up to 55% after 30 minutes of charging — great, though Note 10 Plus and OnePlus 7 charge faster. IPhone 11 also supports faster charging, although you should buy your own 18-watt adapter.
Conclusion
After testing all three new Iphones, it's clear that the iPhone 11 Pro Max is the best iPhone you can buy, thanks to its extensive screen and long battery life. But not everyone will pay $1,099 for such features. Luckily, that iPhone 11 is cheaper $400 and offers comparable performance and good battery life. As for the iPhone 11 Pro, it's a good model to get if you like your phone a little more succinct.
